I watched this movie around the same time I was reading the book about Simon Bolivar and researching about Steve Job`s life. From these things I concluded that some people lives seem like determined by destiny to be great, or as if they were guided by some star. The movie is totally credibly, it has an excellent pace and the actors are very good (It was good to see a young Julie Delpy). The movie itself is about the Solomon Perel`s life but it looks at very important historical events as the night of broken glass (Kristallnacht), the capture of Stalin´s son among others.
The reference to Solomon and Hitlers birthdays is interesting, although in my research I found that Hitler actually was born April 20 and Solomon on the 21.
